Volunteers

Our ROTCYP volunteers will be expected to monitor and engage with the young people, enjoy their time and have fun.

All volunteers that volunteer with the Community Open Project-  youth group and café will have a DBS check. ROTCYP undertakes our volunteer DBS check under Nottinghamshire County Councils DBS service.

During October we plan to do a couple of workshops, getting to know each other, run through setting up and a few case scenarios – running through the safeguarding procedures and health and safety aspects of running youth provisions and tasks. These dates have been confirmed as:

  • Friday 6th October 2017 – 7pm to 8.30pm – Generally the introduction  + sharing ideas.
  • Friday 13th October 2017 – 7pm to 8.30pm – focus on the kitchen , case scenarios and question and answer session.
  • If we need another date – Friday 20th October 2017 – 7pm to 8:30pm

Appointed Officer – Company Secretary

ROTCYP is a registered company as well as a charity and whilst we are a small Company and no longer obliged to have a Company Secretary, we would seek to have a Company Secretary. We would like someone who can provide excellent business knowledge.
